This Z Strain Zombie Mushroom Syringe is the cultured version of our second most popular spores. The first being Golden Teacher. Z Strain is a member of the Psilocybe cubensis family of mushrooms. Often referred to as “benzies” or “cubies,” the Psilocybe cubensis is known for its exceptional potency as well as the ease at which it can be grown, making it a favorite for mushroom cultivators.

Secondly, Z Strain was created through human cultivation—it’s not a naturally occurring fungus. At some point, someone created a variant strain of a naturally occurring Psilocybe cubensis mushroom, and Z Strain was born.

The history surrounding the Z Strain mushroom is a bit of a mystery. Also known as Z Cube, some have suggested that it was the result of mislabeled genetics, and others believe that it may be a genetic isolation of the famed Golden Teacher mushroom.

Spores are for microscopy purposes only. Please shake before use on microscopy slides. Spore syringes are 12ML, filled with 10ML spore solution. Thus, preventing the plunger of the syringe from breaking. In the instance that the liquid expands from freezing and hot weather.

FAQ: I can’t see spores, does that mean there are none? 

When you are viewing a clear spore solution it can actually contain thousands of microscopic spores. Properly mixed spore syringes will be clump free. You will not be able to easily see the spores inside with eyes alone.

A clear solution will still have thousands of spores and when you use it. Some vendors will go as far as coal in their spore solutions to give the appearance of more spores.
