Pizza Night, Fullsend Style
Pizza isn’t just food — it’s an event. It’s the smell of fresh dough rising in your kitchen, friends gathering around the counter, and someone always sneaking bacon before it hits the oven.
At Fullsend, we wanted to take the classic meat lovers pizza and give it a twist. So here it is: a pie layered with ricotta, spinach, bacon, ham, and turkey meatballs — finished off with a sprinkle of freeze-dried Lion’s Mane mushrooms once it’s out of the oven. The flavor is rich, the vibe is fun, and it’s one of those recipes you’ll want to share with your people.
Why Lion’s Mane Stays on Top
We all know mushrooms are good for you. But here’s the trick: if you bake Lion’s Mane, you lose a lot of what makes it special. That’s why we keep ours freeze-dried and sprinkle it on at the very end. It’s nutty, it’s earthy, and it keeps all of its natural benefits intact.

Ingredients
For the crust
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the toppings
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- ½ cup diced ham
- ½ cup turkey meatballs, cooked and sliced
- Freeze-dried Lion’s Mane (added after baking)
How We Do It
The dough ritual
Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it foam. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead, cover, and let it rise for an hour. This is when the kitchen starts smelling like magic.
2. The toppings crew
Cook the bacon. Slice those turkey meatballs. Dice the ham. Keep the spinach fresh. This is the point when friends usually wander in to “help.”
3. Build your masterpiece
Crank the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll the dough, spread the sauce, sprinkle the mozzarella, dollop the ricotta. Then layer in the spinach, bacon, ham, and meatballs.
4. Bake it up
12–15 minutes later, the crust is golden, the cheese is bubbling, and you know you nailed it.
5. The Fullsend finish
Take it out, let it cool slightly, and then sprinkle on the Lion’s Mane. It’s that last step that makes everyone at the table ask, “What’s on top?!”
Gather, Share, Enjoy
This isn’t just dinner — it’s a conversation starter. The salty bacon and ham balance with creamy ricotta, fresh spinach keeps it light, and the Lion’s Mane brings a nutty, wellness-driven surprise that keeps people talking.
